BioMini Slim 2 brings along Suprema’s excellence in detecting fake fingerprint attacks with Advanced Live Finger Detection (LFD) Technology. BioMini Slim 2 not only captures impeccable fingerprint images, but can also distinguish whether they come from a live finger or by a fake spoof. LFD technology enables BioMini Slim 2 to detect fake fingerprint attacks made with material like glue, clay, film, rubber, paper, silicon and more.
Suprema’s proprietary MDR (Multi-dynamic Range) technology ensures that fingerprint image can be upheld even in the harshest lighting condition. MDR technology make BioMini Slim 2 immune to ambient lighting and it can capture high quality fingerprint images even in 100,000 LUX direct light, which can be as intense as direct sunlight.
BioMini Slim 2 is the world’s thinnest FBI PIV and FBI Mobile ID certified FAP20 optical fingerprint scanner. BioMini Slim 2’s platen size measures 16.5mm x 21.0mm, which exceeds the platen size requirement of FAP20 standard.
